Golden Records v2.6 now available.

Version 2.6 of Golden Records adds new features and an improved handicap and classification system.

In this version the computation of handicaps and classifications is entirely automatic (optional). As scores are entered, the change in the archer’s handicap and classification is calculated and displayed.

Scores are now checked against the maximum for the round to prevent data errors. Entering scores is made easier by auto-complete, type the first few letters of an archer’s name or a round and matching results are displayed.

Importing data automatically creates matching archery seasons. Contact us about importing from ArchRecords.

An update to fix this will be released in the next few days.

Some users are reporting problems with installing updates

Some users are reporting problems with installing updates. It seems that installations from CD on 64 bit machines have been installed as 32 bit programs. However, the update will only install in 64 bit mode leading to only a partial install as the update does not contain all the files. This can be solved by downloading and installing the full 64 bit installer. It may however be necessary to move the database file to recover data.
